What Does Oregon Rental Housing Association (ORHA) Provide?
You're feeling overwhelmed by the laws and requirements of being a landlord? Oregon Rental Housing Association is a professional statewide organization of those involved in the rental housing industry, it is our collective voice in the legislature. It's mission is working together to:
  • Safeguard the economic investment of the members.
  • Develop and promote high standards.
  • Encourage fair and equitable relationship service.
  • Promote reasonable laws and regulations.
  • Link members and state-wide associations through an effective communication network.


Oregon Rental Housing Association supports local associations by providing the following:

  • Standardized forms comply with current Landlord/Tenant Laws for qualify management of rental housing and protection for both residents and property owners.
  • Has an effective state legislative program that works to update and change the Oregon Landlord/Tenant Law at every legislative session.
  • A professional lobbyist represents rental property owners in the Oregon State legislature.
  • Conducts seminars on rental property management, Oregon Landlord/Tenant Laws, Federal Fair Housing Regulations, other educational programs. They provide educational certification availability and other relevant topics.
  • Holds an Annual State Convention with vendors and seminars.
  • Publishes a quarterly statewide newsletter.
